  • Mobile Timekeeping Offline

    Presently, the Mobile Timekeeping application in the my.FS Portal is offline. Information Technology Services (ITS) is performing maintenance to correct this issue. Please do not use Mobile Timekeeping until further notice.

    Mobile timekeeping is back online. Due to the outage this morning impacting the Payroll deadline, please use blue timecards for any time that was unable to be entered through the application. We apologize for the inconvenience.

  • Water Main Break – Urgent Repair Work Underway on South Oak Street

    6:21 p.m.
    The leak has been repaired. Tomorrow (8/3/22), crews will backfill parts of the road and resurface the affected area.

    8:47 a.m.
    Please be advised that F&S crews are performing urgent repairs on South Oak Street because of a water main break earlier this morning. The water main break near the Nuclear Physics Laboratory and Oak Street Chiller Plant will narrow the road egress but will not require a closure. 

    Individuals are requested to avoid this general area and use alternate routes for service vehicles until the work is completed. Thanks for your assistance and patience as the repairs are made.   • Physical Plant Service Building - Water Leak

    6:16 p.m.

    The chilled water service leak was repaired and the system is back online. Cooling will be available shortly as the system is flushed and energized. 


    12:51 p.m.
    Because of a water leak identified in the northwest corner of PPSB, chilled water service to the facility has been temporarily shut off until repairs can be completed. As a result of this interruption, staff throughout the building may experience warmer-than-typical temperatures this afternoon.

    Employees are asked to stay clear of this general area and use alternate routes and parking locations for service vehicles until the repairs are made.

  • AiM and my.FS Portal Maintenance This Morning

    Due to maintenance, AiM and the my.FS Portal will be unavailable for approximately 30 minutes this morning. The temporary outage began at 8:30 a.m. The workplace management software systems and applications will return online after that period.

    UPDATES

    • 10:30 a.m. – Additional maintenance work on both software systems is expected to last approximately one hour.
    • 1:00 p.m. – AiM and my.FS Portal functionality was restored around 11:30 a.m. However, some items are not working as expected. ITS has notified individuals who may be affected and continues to address the remaining software issues.
    • 1:50 p.m.   All issues with AiM and the my.FS Portal have now been resolved. At 5 a.m., a weekly automated process failed after running partially. Initially, this occurrence caused system-wide issues, and after 11 a.m., had a more limited impact as ITS staff worked through addressing impacted items. ITS is reviewing the automated process to determine if any additional adjustments need to be made to eliminate the risk of this type of situation occurring in the future.

  • F&S Service Request Phone Line Down

    The F&S Service Request phone line 217-333-0340 is offline this morning.  A ticket with AT&T has been opened.  Please use 217-333-0341 until this issue is resolved.  This issue should be resolved by 2 pm. 

    The Issue was resolved at 12:30pm, you can now use 217-333-0340 to reach the F&S Service Office. We apologize for the inconvenience.

  • Chilled Water Leak/Power Outage at Roger Adams Lab

    A Chilled Water Leak/Power Outage has occurred at Roger Adams Lab. This leak has flooded the basement and taken power out to the South Addition of the building. All appropriate crafts/trades have been dispatched for repair and cleanup. Leak was stopped @ 5:30pm on 2/7/21 and power was restored @ 12pm on 2/9/21.
