The Boneyard Creek Community Day is an annual volunteer event that helps minimize pollution, improve water quality, and restore the beauty of the Boneyard Creek and other local waterways. Volunteers remove trash and non-native plants, and mark storm drains.

Registration information and more event details are available at www.boneyardcreek.org.

trashpickupF&S sponsored two litter cleanups in April 2021.
Kudos to all the volunteers who made a huge difference by helping to protect waterways and beautify the campus.

F&S sponsored both of these events and the cleanups not only beautify our campus and local waterways, but these events also help the campus stay in compliance with our Municipality (MS4) stormwater permit Public Participation & Involvement requirements.

BONEYARD WORK
iSEE employee Meredith Moore and a group of volunteers helped pick up campus litter on Saturday 4/7/21. 30 people participated and they collected 80 lbs of material. They cleaned around the Boneyard Creek and engineering buildings. See a video of the pick-up event here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QHNx1Q3gqiI.

F&S LEADER WITH CUB SCOUTS
F&S employee Patrick Wood and his Cub Scout group Holy Cross Pack 9 helped clean up campus litter on Saturday 4/24/21. 18 Cub Scouts and 28 family members participated and they cleaned the grassy lot east of PPSB and the parking lot across First Street.
