Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, F&S staff have installed, replaced, and removed building notification signage at facility entrances and in restrooms, elevators, and stairwells when necessary. Please do not attempt to remove signage yourself; F&S staff will continue to perform these activities.
Doing so will help avoid possible damage to the surfaces of walls and doors, which may lead to more service requests and additional university resources for drywall repairs or painting touch-ups. Because there are over 10,000 temporary adhesive signs posted on the Urbana campus, this work could be substantial if many signs are removed improperly.
Thanks for your patience as crews work as quickly as practical to expedite this process and update buildings based on the latest face covering guidelines.
