With freezing temperatures forecasted for Champaign-Urbana into next week, F&S requests the assistance of students, faculty, and staff to help protect equipment and systems inside of facilities.
Due to these extreme temperatures, where wind chill factors could eventually drop to around 20 degrees below zero, please ensure that all exterior windows and doors are closed and report any weather-related or temperature control issues immediately to the F&S Energy Management Control Center fandsenergycomm@illinois.edu, 217-244-3783.
After 4:30 p.m. Monday – Friday and over the weekend, all urgent service requests should be directed to the F&S Service Office at 217-333-0340 for an expedited response. During those periods, calls will be transferred to the Division of Public Safety dispatch.
