New iCAP 2020 goals include production of 140,000 Megawatt Hours per year (MWh) from renewable sources, including 25,000 MWh/year from solar. Once Solar Farm 2.0 is operational, expected by January 2021, the University of Illinois will produce more than 27,000 MWh/year.

"The goals of the iCAP, in general, are ambitious and achievable," said Attalla. "In order to achieve these numbers, you have to think big."
