At approximately 2 p.m. today (Friday, July 26), high and low pressure steam was interrupted throughout the Urbana campus. Boilers at Abbott Power Plant are again operating and steam pressure is expected to be fully restored later today. Until then, there will be no heating or hot water across campus; there is also no high pressure steam for lab equipment, such as cage washers and autoclaves.
Once steam is restored, please check building systems and equipment to see if they require attention.
