The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) informed Multimodal Corridor Enhancement Project (MCORE) partner agencies that the recent State of Illinois budget approval provided appropriations for work to resume on “state-let” projects. MCORE is a “state-let” project because the federal TIGER grant funding is directed to IDOT, who then becomes the contracting agency on behalf of the MCORE partner agencies
