Parking Lot C7, located at 517 E. John Street, is closed until further notice for evaluation of the the facility’s facade. Sunday morning, a portion the masonry on the south exterior wall was discovered detached from the building. No injuries occurred as a result of this incident.
The Parking Department is contacting all Lot C7 permit holders, including departmental units, with instructions for alternate parking locations beginning Monday, July 11.
Please be aware that due to these adjustments and associated sidewalk closures, it may take employees longer than typical to get to work. Supervisors are requested to help accommodate those affected.
