Facilities & Services has partnered with TerraCycle to collect disposable masks for recycling, and we need your help! We are reaching out to units across campus to find the best locations for collection boxes. This program is offered at no cost to individual units and is supplemented through Student Sustainability Committee (SSC) funding.
The Process:
- F&S will provide your building with a prepaid recycling box (or boxes) and associated signage for single-use mask collection.
- Once full, it will be collected by F&S staff and shipped to TerraCycle to recycle into composite lumber-like materials.
