Meeting about University Avenue work set March 2
Representatives from the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) will hold a public meeting on Monday, March 2, about the start of construction improvements to U.S. 150 (University Avenue) between Wright Street and Cunningham Avenue in Urbana.
The initial construction is expected to begin Monday, March 16, and involves rebuilding sidewalks, curbs, and gutters as well as improvements to lighting and traffic signals this year. Road surface rehabilitation is scheduled for 2021.
The meeting will be held at the project field office:
