Bike Light Giveaway at Two Campus Locations

Bike - Light the Night 2018

CHAMPAIGN, IL – Bring your bike to the 11th annual Light the Night on Thursday, Sept. 20 and get a free set of front and rear lights which are required by Illinois law for the operation of bicycles at night in roadways.

Volunteers will install more than 1,100 bike light sets at two campus locations, Alma Mater Plaza and the Hallene Gateway. Lights will only be installed on bicycles without lights; lights will not be given to individuals.
