Right now, blood donation in Texas and Florida following the impacts of Hurricane Harvey and Irma is greatly reduced. Many factors continue to limit the ability of blood providers to collect donations in those areas as well as prevent participation in drives.
F&S will host the Bloodmobile at PPSB on Wednesday, October 4. Blood supply beyond what is needed by Community Blood Services of Illinois to support local hospitals will be delivered to communities whose ability to maintain an adequate supply system no longer exists. If you can give, please join us to help save lives and support impacted regions.
