The City of Urbana and University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign will host an inaugural stormwater public meeting Wednesday, February 15 from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m., at the Urbana Civic Center. We want to hear your ideas about urban stormwater management and keeping the waters in our community as clean and safe as possible.

The university’s stormwater management program is composed of best management practices which reduce pollutants, protect water quality, and satisfy Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) permit requirements. The MS4 Technical Committee includes representatives from the university, the City of Champaign, the City of Urbana, Village of Savoy, and Champaign County.
