Veterinary Teaching Hospital Road Improvements
Pavement, curb, and sidewalk improvements to Hazelwood Drive will require a road closure and route detours near the University of Illinois Veterinary Teaching Hospital beginning Monday, November 10, through mid-December. Once complete, the project will help improve access to the hospital’s Large Animal and Small Animal clinics.
DURING CONSTRUCTION:
Small Animal Clinic and Emergency Services
Access will remain available at all times via Hazelwood Drive entering from Lincoln Avenue.
Large Animal Clinic and Emergency Services / Deliveries
Access will be available only from St. Mary’s Road, north of the Basic Sciences Building.
Hazelwood Drive Parking Permit Holders
Portions of Hazelwood Drive will remain open for permit holders during construction.
NOTE:
Additional construction and wayfinding signage will be placed along Lincoln Avenue and St. Mary’s Road during construction to assist with general notification and detours.
